The Kanchenjunga Region Trekking is one of Nepal’s most remote and least crowded adventures, located in the far eastern part of the country. It begins from Taplejung after a flight to Bhadrapur and a road transfer, and ends at the same point. The trek explores both North and South Base Camps of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m), passing through diverse ecosystems and authentic Limbu and Rai villages.

Conservation Area
Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA): Established in 1997, covering 2authentic. km. Protects subtropical forests, alpine meadows, glaciers, and rare wildlife such as red pandas, snow leopards, and Himalayan black bears. Requires Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Permit (KCAP) and Restricted Area Permit (RAP).

- Monsoon: Trails slippery, but lush vegetation.
