This trek is suitable to those who have limited time but have a strong ambition to see Mt. Everest closely. This trek starts from Lukla and also ends at Lukla. Going through Sherpa villages and beautiful monasteries around the world's beautiful snowcapped mountains is just another charm of this trek.
Day to day outline itinerary
Day 01:Arrival Kathmadu :
Day 02:Kathmandu (1400m) - Fly to Lukla (2827m) - Pahkding (2600m):
Day 03:Phakding (2600m) to Namche Bazaar(3450m)
Day 04:Namche Bazar (3450) – Acclimatization Day.
Day 05:Phakding (2600m) - Lukla (2827m):
Day 06:Lukla (2827m) - Kathmandu (1400m):
Day 07:Kathmandu and its vicinity breakfast at Hotel , then visit world heritage site different point of interest for example Swyambhunath Stupa, ptan Durbar Square and many more… Rest of the day, free ourself, rest, shopping
Day 08:Kathmandu- Depature[ till departure free ourself] Then transfer to international airport for your onward journey.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1Arrival Kathmadu : Meet and Greet at airport and transfer to hotel , check in hotel, brief the trek tour plan
Day 2Kathmandu (1400m) - Fly to Lukla (2827m) - Pahkding (2600m): Early morning after having a breakfast you will be transferred to airport for flight to Lukla(2827m). Within 45 minutes, you will reach Lukla. During the flight we can see the snowcapped mountains and the serene natural beauty of Nepal.Lukla is the starting point of our trek. Then after arriving in Lukla, we start our trek and head towards Phakding(2652m). We can reach there within 3 -4 hours and as the trail descends steadily through the bank of Dudhkoshi River, Sherpa Vilages and Om Mani scripted stones. After a short walk, we reach Phakding.
Day 3Phakding (2600m) to Namche Bazaar(3450m)Exploring the forest , we go on walking and pass the forest and move towards the north.On the way, we cross a suspension bridge and arrive in a small village Jorsale. AS we walk further, we walk on the side of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River. Finally, we will reach Namchhe Bazzar which is a gateway to Mount Everest. From Namchhe , if the weather is good and the sky is clear, you can enjoy the snowcapped mountains such as Mount Lhotse and Mount Everest.Stay overnight in Namchhe Bazzar.
Day 4Namche Bazar (3450) – Acclimatization Day.We won’t walk much today. We will go up around Khumjung (3970m) and go to Everest View Hotel to have a closer and clear view of Mount Everest.You can take pictures and create a memory that lasts a lifetime. After spending sometime there, we come down and return back to Phakding. Stay overnight at Phakding.
Day 5Phakding (2600m) - Lukla (2827m): From Phakding , we have to return back to Lukla. After the five hours of long walk, we reach Lukla. The beautiful scenary on the way attracts many visitors.The altitude of this trek is 2827m.
Day 6Lukla (2827m) - Kathmandu (1400m): After having breakfast in the early morning you will return back to Kathmandu by flight.Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 7Kathmandu and its vicinity breakfast at Hotel , then visit world heritage site different point of interest for example Swyambhunath Stupa, ptan Durbar Square and many more… Rest of the day, free ourself, rest, shopping
Day 8Kathmandu- Depature[ till departure free ourself] Then transfer to international airport for your onward journey.
