When to visit? When to Trek Everest Region:
The high season such as October/November and March /May are good time. At these times the weather is not so hot nor so cold and generally dry, making hike/ trek the walking condition good. The spring season is good for wild flowers specially rhododendrons. While the autumn season naturally gives the best mountain views, as the sky at this time is clear.
The other season, winter is also possible as it depends when we want to visit. The weather is also cold and clear making pleasant day .Trekking in winter is possible in lower part but the chances of snow are higher and passes and paths may be closed.
The summer /monsoon period is generally not so suitable for trekking, as the trails are slippery and there will be leeches on the way and mountain views are not permitted due to bad weather.
If you are prepared to face these shortcomings , when wild flowers are at their best time , and is good time for our body for high pass trekking ,there would not be so much snow on the trails . Another benefit is that, there are fewer tourists on the trails, to enjoy the moment.
