Royal Chitwan National Park has long been regarded as Nepal's third biggest attraction after trekking and the Kathmandu valley. It spreads over an area of 932 sq km of Sal forest, water marshes and rippling grassland. The park maintains three types of vegetation - grassland (20%), Riverine Forest (10%) and Shorea Robusta (70%). The park is one of the last refuges of the endangered one-horned Indian Rhino and there are sizeable population of tigers, leopards and rare Gangetic dolphins. It is also listed in World Heritage Site from the year 1984.

Day 1Kathmandu/ChitwanDepart Kathmandu to Chitwan for a four-hour drive early in the morning. You can stop on the way for a coffee break. Once you reached your destination you will be met and transferred to the Jungle camp. You are free to join the Jungle camp's activities like Jungle Safari, Nature walk, bird watching, elephant ride, canoe ride in the Rapti River where you can see crocodiles, rhinoceroses, many species of birds, wild animals and a hardly seen Bengal Tiger.
Day 2ChitwanYou are free for the whole day for Jungle activities. (B, L, D)
Day 3Chitwan/ KathmanduEarly in the morning you will leave Chit wan for Kathmandu. (B) B- Breakfast, L- Lunch, D- Dinner
